We moved to Lincoln from Broken Bow, NE approximately 3 years ago. When we were in Broken Bow we decided to homeschool, but we knew that wasn’t going to be an option much past third grade for our daughter, Olivia. We had talked about public school in the small town of Broken Bow because I knew most of the teachers, but we weren’t really excited about it and didn’t feel God was directing us that way.
When we decided our business was bringing us east, we made it a point to look for a great Christian school for the kids. Olivia was in 3rd grade and Henry was in Pre-K. We spent a lot of time visiting schools and asking questions. The staff at Trinity Lutheran School was fantastic about answering all of our questions and concerns. After our conversations with Trinity Lutheran School faculty and staff during our visit, Christin and I both felt God was clearly telling us Trinity Lutheran was the spot for our kids. We were slightly worried about Olivia starting halfway through the school year, but the staff and students could not have been more accommodating. She instantly had a great group of friends and she was excelling under the teachers & staff.
Olivia is now in 5th grade and absolutely loves her class, teacher, and friends. Henry is in Kindergarten and he has made lots of friends too and looks forward to coming each day! We highly recommend TLS to anyone looking for an alternative to public school.
